Dr. Anastasiia Rukavyshnykova is a licensed physical therapist working in outpatient physical therapy clinic in North Bethesda, MD. She graduated from Temple University with Bachelor of Science degree in Kinesiology, and continued her studies at Thomas Jefferson University, where she earned her Doctor of Physical Therapy degree. During her time in college, Anastasiia was a member and a captain of varsity tennis team. Dr. Rukavyshnykova’s philosophy has been shaped by her experience as a clinician, patient and athlete. Understanding emotional and psychological elements related to pain and injury is an important part of her treatment philosophy.

Dr. Rukavyshnykova is a member of the Orthopedic and Neurology sections of the American Physical Therapy Association (APTA). She is certified in vestibular and concussion management via AIB (American Institute of Balance), and Trigger Point Dry Needling through Myopain Seminars.
