Dr. Emily Telfair – Speaker
Dr. Emily Telfair is a naturopathic physician, who practices in Baltimore, MD. She has experience with chronic pain patients, as well as patients with mast cell activation disorders.

“Dr. Emily Telfair earned her Doctorate of Naturopathic Medicine from Bastyr University in Seattle, WA. She received her Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Dayton with a dual major in Biology and Psychology. Her naturopathic medical training included five years of intensive coursework and clinical experience in science-based natural medicine. Dr. Emily brings to her practice knowledge and training in clinical nutrition, lifestyle counseling, homeopathy, botanical medicine, and craniosacral therapy, and she offers her patients a safe and comfortable space to explore their health holistically as a complement to the care they are receiving from their medical doctors.
Dr. Emily holds a license for Naturopathic Medicine in Washington State (licenses will be issued in Maryland in March 2016) and a Massage Therapy license in Maryland. In addition to her private practice, Dr. Emily has served as both Vice-President and President of the Maryland Naturopathic Doctors Association (formerly MDANP) and was instrumental in helping to pass legislation in March 2014 to license naturopathic doctors in the state of Maryland. She has served as a volunteer at Joy Wellness Center affiliated with Shepherd’s Clinic in Baltimore City and is a contributing writer to NDHealthcare.com and Naturopathic News and Review. Dr. Emily is an active member of the American Association of Naturopathic Physicians (AANP) and the Pediatric Association of Naturopathic Physicians. In August 2014, Dr. Emily was the grateful recipient of the President’s Award presented by AANP President Kasra Pournadeali, ND in recognition of her efforts to license naturopathic doctors in Maryland.
